"Making Teaching Count"
The National Association for Primary Education (NAPE) has chosen this as the title of it's 2012 Annual Conference and Exhibition and Mondale Events are delighted to have been appointed by NAPE to assist with it's organisation.
The Conference is designed for Head Teachers, teachers and teaching assistants in KS1 and KS2 and will focus on two important themes :
- Strengthening the Link with Parents with a keynote address to be given by Professor Teresa Cremin, Professor of Education at the Open University, who will discuss the impact of home background on children's learning and how necessary it is for teachers to be aware of that background and
- Teaching Mathematics with a keynote address to be given by Pepe Rahman Hart who was a member of the Vorderman inquiry into mathematics teaching and who will discuss current issues and refer to the review of the core curriculum recently proposed for consultation.
Both addresses will be followed by interactive workshops and time to visit the exhibition where there will be a variety of exhibitors displaying products and services available in primary education today.
The day promises to be a stimulating, informative and enjoyable day of high educational value to schools.
