Wakefield Council "Harnessing Technology for Learning" Conference & Exhibition 8.30am - 3.30pm

The Schools and Lifelong Learning Services ICT Department of Wakefield District Council are inviting delegates from approximately 150 primary and secondary schools in the area to attend this event at the centrally and conveniently located Cedar Court Hotel.
"Harnessing Technology for Learning" has been chosen as the theme for the Conference with the objectives being to share effective practice across the Wakefield schools, to explore the embedding of ICT in the life of schools and to see children using new and emerging technologies. All Primary, Community Special and Secondary practitioners who have a role in promoting the use of ICT across the curriculum - including Head teachers, Senior staff, ICT Co-ordinators/leaders, Teachers, support staff, Bursars and Administration staff are invited to attend. A buffet lunch and refreshments will be served throughout the day and delegates wishing to attend should use the above link to register.

An exhibition is being held to run alongside the Conference where organisations will be displaying the latest technology available in education today. Should your organisation wish to take advantage of this excellent opportunity to promote your products and/or services, then you are requested to contact us as soon as possible. With between 100 and 150 delegates expected to attend, this new event is likely to be very popular. Exhibition stand space is limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
